Full rate is for Consultants, Professors and Associate Specialists
Concessionary rate is for Nurses (specialist, research, other), allied health professionals, radiographers and doctors in training (up to and including specialist registrar grade)

Abstract Submission for BTOG 2025 is now closed.

 

Useful Information – 

  • Original, previously unpublished, research or audit carried out by your department or group as a poster abstract.
  • Abstract maximum is 300 words – any references also form part of the total word count. The abstract title is not included in the word count and in addition you can include one diagram or table. Please note the published abstracts will be in black and white print only.
  • Encore abstracts – BTOG’s position is that an abstract/poster submitted/presented at another conference and then submitted to BTOG 2025 must contain additional information or data to the original and the previous submission/presentation must be declared on the submission.
  • Case reports can be submitted for consideration, these are generally only accepted if there is a significant learning point associated with the case or series of cases.
  • All submitted abstracts will be considered for an oral presentation. By submitting an abstract, one of the authors must commit to delivering an oral at BTOG 2025 if selected
  • BTOG 2025 posters will be presented in-person at the conference.
  • Posters will need to be up and available for viewing by latest 12:00 noon on Monday 3rd March 2025
  • Formal poster viewing and welcome reception at 18:30 – 20:00 on Monday.
  • Posters should be available for viewing on Monday 3rd March and until 18:00 on Tuesday 4th March.
  • Scienceposters are pleased to offer an optional poster service for poster presenters for the negotiated price of only £45, including delivery to Belfast for collection. Childcare Policy and Creche at BTOG 2025

Acknowledging the requirements of our conference delegates who may be accompanied by their young children, BTOG is delighted to present an on-site professional childcare service at BTOG 2025.  This dedicated childcare facility will be conveniently situated within the conference building ensuring easy accessibility for your convenience.  The service is designed for children aged 0 months to 12 years old and will be overseen by a professional childcare agency to assure you that your children will receive attentive care while you actively participate in the conference activities.  The childcare facility will be located in a dedicated space on Level 0 of the ICC Belfast, directly accessible from the registration area via the Riverside Entrance of the ICC Belfast.  Baby changing facilities and feeding facilities are also available in the Riverside Foyer.

The staff are all fully vetted which includes:

  • Police checks
  • GP signs them off
  • Social services signs them off
  • Childcare experience/gaining/gained qualifications

 

Terms and Conditions

  • For the safety of your child, please ensure you have a photo ID when dropping off and picking up.
  • Water, snacks, fruits will be provided. No lunch provided.
  • Parents are required to provide nappies and any specific items their children may need (excluding medications).
  • If your child requires a nap during creche, please bring their comfort items (pacifier, stuffed animal, sleeping bag, etc.) for a cozy rest.
  • Please administer any necessary medication to your child before arrival, as the childcare staff cannot administer medications.
  • We recommend parents to arrange travel insurance coverage for their children throughout their stay.
  • Children are not permitted to attend conference sessions
  • The conference welcome reception on Monday 3rd March at the ICC Belfast is open to children.
  • Children are not permitted at the Titanic venue for conference dinner on Tuesday 4th March 2025.
  • Children remain the responsibility of their parents or carers at all times. All children under the age of 18 would need to be supervised at all times by a parent or guardian.
  • To avoid any cancellation fees please let the childcare provider know if you need to cancel the booking by Monday 20/01/2025.
